Hello Beginners!
Happy new year. It was so nice to see so many of you last week for our first run of 2015. You all did really well. It is not easy getting back into the routine after the holiday :).
This week we will do our first long, uninterrupted run. We will be running 60 minutes with no breaks. The route map is attached below. It is approximately 5 miles. We will run 60 minutes again next week and then start increasing by 10 minutes each week. Our half marathon is just three months away!!
At this point you should all be running three times a week. As we increase our mileage on Thursdays, the Tuesday runs don’t need to be as long. Tuesday runs can be approximately 45 minutes at this point and will increase to 60 minutes in a few weeks.
