{"id":4,"date":"2016-02-11T21:48:56","date_gmt":"2016-02-11T21:48:56","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/womenrunningtheworld.com\/beginners\/?p=4"},"modified":"2016-02-28T16:46:50","modified_gmt":"2016-02-28T16:46:50","slug":"beginners_week_23_11_feb_2016","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/womenrunningtheworld.com\/beginners\/2016\/02\/11\/beginners_week_23_11_feb_2016\/","title":{"rendered":"Beginners Week 23: 11 Feb 2016"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"\">Hi everyone,<\/div>\n<div class=\"\">Sorry for the late email &#8211; it\u2019s been one of those weeks \ud83d\ude42<\/div>\n<div class=\"\"><\/div>\n<div class=\"\">Congratulations to Swati and Vijaya for their 10K race on Sunday &#8211; see photo below. \u00a0You guys are awesome!<\/div>\n<div class=\"\"><\/div>\n<div class=\"\">Our run this week will be to Notting Hill along the canal. \u00a0We will be doing 90 minutes and ending back at the SJW Starbucks. \u00a0Even if you can\u2019t stay for coffee, please do go to the Starbucks because Jane will be there to give everyone a race hat and I think she may have a few shirts that people ordered and haven\u2019t received.<\/div>\n<div class=\"\"><\/div>\n<div class=\"\">Next week is ASL\u2019s February break. \u00a0The week is considered a break week &#8211; less time\/mileage for your run to let your body recover from the work its been doing to build up muscles. \u00a0If you can, please do your normal 45 minutes on Tuesday and 60 minutes on Thursday. \u00a0Even just doing a couple of 30 minute runs would be good just to keep up what you\u2019ve done so far. \u00a0When we get back, your non-Thursday run times should increase &#8211; 45 minutes on the weekend and 60 minutes on Tuesday. \u00a0We will keep that schedule until the race.<\/div>\n<div class=\"\">\u00a0<img decoding=\"async\" id=\"4BD42D08-FBD9-4905-97BC-41127AF4AEA4\" class=\" Apple-web-attachment-container\" src=\"cid:8B39739F-AAB1-4C91-A302-9556A971C462@lan\" alt=\"IMG_4245.jpeg\" \/><\/div>\n<div class=\"\"><\/div>\n<div class=\"\">Tomorrow\u2019s route:<\/div>\n<p>Start out on Circus Road and turn left on Lisson Grove. \u00a0At St John\u2019s Wood Road, go diagonally across the intersection and run down that road for one block. \u00a0Turn left and then turn right and run straight, crossing over Maida Vale. \u00a0Run alongside the canal until you come to the entrance on the left. \u00a0Run out the canal to the west and exit at Ladbroke Grove.\u00a0 Run to Elgin Crescent and make a left.\u00a0 Continue to Ledbury and go right and then left at Westbourne Grove.\u00a0 Run down Westbourne Grove over Bishop&#8217;s Bridge and down the steps into Sheldon Square.\u00a0 Go back along the canal, going back over the bridge (kind of a U-turn) and and out where you entered and back to Starbucks.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" id=\"A7D80781-3F5C-414F-9696-B98AC238B13C\" class=\" Apple-web-attachment-container\" src=\"cid:1FE56CB4-F373-4DD0-98BB-6D026F6C0685@lan\" alt=\"NottingHill.png\" \/><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Hi everyone, Sorry for the late email &#8211; it\u2019s been one of those weeks \ud83d\ude42 Congratulations to Swati and Vijaya for their 10K race on Sunday &#8211; see photo below. \u00a0You guys are awesome!
