Hello all.  Thanks again for a wonderful get together last week.  It was a great way to kick off the holiday season.  This week will be our last organized Thursday group run until the new year.  If you are planning to be in London over the holidays and interested in running as a group, please let us know and we can try to organize a few runs over the two week period.  

This week we will be doing two 30 minute runs!  We are not yet sure of what the route will be.  Please bring your oyster card just in case we need it.

For those of you who have not yet ordered your t-shirts and are interested in ordering one, please email Jane Novak by this Wednesday with your size.  

We look forward to seeing you this Thursday.  If you are already gone, have a wonderful holiday and we will see you January 8, 2015!!

Hello Runners!

Thanks to all of you who attended the dinner on Thursday.  It was such a fun evening and reminded us again how lucky we are to be a part of such an amazing group of women.  

This week we will be running two 25 minute intervals.  Vicky will be taking us along a beautiful run through Hyde Park and Green Park.  We will also see a few Paddington bears along the way :).  Please remember to bring your oyster cards as we will take the tube at the end of our run directly to Cecilia’s house.  (Thank you Cecilia for hosting us!).  Cecilia and Ria will be sending along more details about the get together this week.

Hello Beginners!


We hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving.  Cheers for those of you who ran with Vicky on Thanksgiving morning to see more of the Paddington bears.  This week we will be running three 15 minute intervals and then next week we will be running two 25 minute intervals!

We are so looking forward to our dinner this week.  It will be held at 7 pm on Thursday night.  The location will be Pizza East in Kentish Town.  Address is 79 Highgate Rd NW5 1TL.  The cost for food only will be 30 per person.  It looks like we will have a great turnout for the evening.

Keep up the great work!  We are so proud of you.

Hey Everyone,

I wasn’t sure of our route when Meg sent out the weekly email, but now I have it.  We’ll run an almost-five-mile loop through a bit of Notting Hill, so no Oyster cards needed (although I recommend always bringing one anyway!).  We’ll head down Circus to Hamilton Terrace where we’ll take a right.  We go left on Abercorn which becomes Elgin, and we stay on that until we cross Harrow where we veer left on Great Western.  We run past the Westbourne Park tube station and turn right on Westbourne Park Road, then left on Ledbury.  After that, it’s a left on Westbourne Grove which takes us to Paddington Station.  From there we run back to the churchyard the same way we did on our Paddington run (along the canal, exit on Blomfield road, left on Cunningham Place, right on St Johns Wood Road…)

Let’s talk tomorrow about where we should run next week – we can repeat the Thanksgiving run so the rest of you can see more Paddingtons, or we can loop if it’s better for getting to Cecilia’s for coffee.  I’m happy to take suggestions!
